CONGRATULATIONS!
Give Water a Hand receives national recognition
The Maumee RAP collaborated with 16 local jurisdictions to educate
residents of Northwest Ohio about storm water and other environmental issues,
their impact on water quality, and how the average citizen can help.
This was accomplished with an educational campaign that included mailing tip cards
quarterly to every household in partnering jurisdictions throughout the region.
Newspaper, television, and cinema advertisements were also used to promote the issues.
Press releases, posters, and public service announcements (PSAs) were released in conjunction with
tip card distribution.
Copies of the tip cards,
posters,
press releases, and
advertisements are
available for downloading from the Publications
and Documents Section. These links were made available as they were distributed each
quarter from January 2004 to April 2005.
